We live in a rapidly changing world, where objects are becoming compact, multifunctional and essential. We therefore wanted to design a piece of furniture that would respond to the desire for movement, for never remaining the same.

It is a piece of furniture, but first and foremost it is an idea of freedom: the freedom to change, to adapt, to follow the rhythm of life. Its name says it all — Flow, like the flow of water, like a natural gesture that transforms effortlessly.

Its wave-inspired design is not just a matter of beauty: it is an intelligent interlocking system that allows each part to interact with the others, connecting and renewing itself to adapt to your space, your habits and your dreams.

Measurements and package

All elements of the unit are lightweight and foldable to minimize bulk during transport, as shown in the drawing below right.

Once assembled, Flow has a total height of 560 mm (excluding the tow handle), approximately the same height as a standard bed.

By adding additional modules, its size can be extended to serve different functions depending on the intended use.

Composition

The main component is a metal structure, while the two complementary modules are corrugated frames machined with a pantograph, allowing the pieces to fit together without nails or other forms of junction.

The upper module has a multifunctional perforated central section. It can be covered to create a support surface, or it can hold a tray or an induction hob.

The plywood side panels are secured with magnets. The waves and magnets make the parts movable.

The module can be pulled using a height-adjustable handle.

The drawer is folded inside the packaging and can be easily assembled thanks to a simple and intuitive clipping system,
as shown in the steps illustrated below.

The same applies to the main component. The piece features a patent-pending fastening system that allows users to assemble it very quickly and with minimal physical effort.

The magnetic plywood panels can be easily attached to and detached from the main component, allowing users to mount them while retaining the option of different customisations in the future.

Color palette and Stylistic Freedom

The product is available in a palette of four colors that characterize the upper and lower modules and the wooden waves of the main component.

Customers are offered freedom of expression thanks to the possibility of customizing the plywood panels, which can be decorated with Onde wallpaper according to their requests.

Onde is also committed to collaborating with external partners and artists to offer a wide range of creative possibilities.
